There are a number of associations and charities in the UK whom you can approach for advice. For example, if you are retiring overseas, you could contact Age Concern.  We also have a leaflet called ‘Retiring overseas: essential information’, which you can find on the 'Publications' page of the FCO's website. 

If you were a soldier in one of the Armed Forces, you may wish to make contact with the British Legion in Belize who can offer you some support.
